From the majestic vistas of Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, my curiosity led me to pursue a Master's in Zoology at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. I joined INST Mohali in January 2024 I'm captivated by the enigmatic realm of bacterial microcompartments - these protein-based capsules that orchestrate vital reactions within bacterial cells. Beyond the lab , I find solace in trekking the windswept Himalayan trails and listening to music.
I hail from West Bengal, a vibrant state. After earning my MSc in Biochemistry, I started my doctoral research in 2022. My research delves into liquid-liquid phase separation of bio-nanomaterials, where I study biomolecular interactions and their dynamics. Aside from research, I'm an avid cricket enthusiast and enjoy playing on the field.

I'm from Alappuzha, Kerala, and have a solid academic foundation in biotechnology. I obtained my BSc from Amrita University and an MSc from Bharathiar University. In August 2021, I joined INST to pursue biotechnology research. Currently, my focus is on unraveling the biogenesis of BMCs by studying Idr interactions.
Aarcha Radhakrishnan
(PhD Student; Joined Aug 2021)

I come from land of Himalayas, Uttarakhand. I completed my Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from Central University of Haryana. I started my journey in research from August 2020. Currently I am researching the role of bacterial microcompartment in its pathogenesis. I am also trying to study the structural aspects of the compartment. In my free time, I enjoy skating, music and observing nature over tea breaks.

I'm from Ghaziabad,Uttar Pradesh and obtained my master's degree in Zoology from SGGS College,Panjab University. At present,I am working to understand role of only pentamer shell protein in biogenesis of bacterial microcompartment. I am also exploring inherent properties of these self assembling shell proteins.Other than research, I love to explore new places and new adventures

I'm from Punjab, India. I earned my Medicinal Chemistry master's degree from SPER, Jamia Hamdard in 2018. Since August 2019, I've been conducting research in the Sinha lab, focusing on engineering protein architects for bio-nano hybrid materials in energy and catalysis. I'm also exploring liquid-liquid phase separation for nanocatalyst confinement. Beyond research, I delight in cooking, travel, and discovering new places.

(PhD student; Joined Aug 2019)

Hailing from Mohali, Punjab, I obtained a master's in biotechnology from Punjabi University Patiala. Since August 2019, I've been researching in the Sinha lab, focusing on bio-inorganic hybrids for catalysis and sensing applications. I'm also studying physiological metabolites' molecular significance in conditions like Parkinson's disease and cancer. Beyond research, I enjoy reading and family time.
